Description

We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Processor to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. In this role, you will be mainly responsible for managing vendor invoices and resolving related issues, ensuring the accuracy of invoice processing, and maintaining correspondence with vendors and project personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the receipt, verification, and processing of vendor invoices in accordance with our financial policies and procedures

• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to invoice and purchase order matching

• Review and verify checks to ensure the accuracy of invoice processing by peers

• Perform reconciliation of vendor statements

• Maintain regular communication with vendors and project personnel regarding accounts payable matters

• Plan, organize, and execute tasks as directed, with the capacity to multitask and meet deadlines

• Utilize your skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Invoice processing and Reconciling Vendor Statements to manage and streamline our accounts payable operations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures.

• Experience in handling and processing invoices.

• Demonstrated ability to reconcile vendor statements.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficient computer skills, particularly in Excel and accounting software.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve discrepancies.

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Understanding of general ledger accounts and how they relate to invoices.

• Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
